The sun sinks down and takes with it the light, Making way for the coming of another night, Come out from beneath their day time rocks To prowl without the burning blaring light. To gaze out into the dark left to them once more, No longer must they remain out of sight. The City’s growth has had all the day time, Dark dwellers will now take their fanged bite Some as the sunny ones just exist in peace, Others wander aimlessly looking for a fight, But is that not so to those in pastels There’s not much difference except the lack of light. The sun will come out tomorrow, But then so to will there be another night. Gloom GHAZAL (ga-ZAL) A monorhymed Middle Eastern Lyric poem in which the first two lines rhyme with a Corresponding rhyme in the second line of each succeeding couplet, Thus a rhyme scheme of aa, ba, ca, ect. |
