(This is dedicated to our Floria, a true angel to us all, who today is coping with a close loss and I would like us all to join in prayers for her...)   In The Arms Of An Angel By: Noah Eaton 2/24/02 Your house is quiet and dinner seems to be starting so late Through all your tears and years it can be hard to control yourself You stand by your window feathered in your selective memories You look up essentially to the Lord for guidance and health Hold on, God will always love you He will always be tucked in the arms of an angel with light For a mother and son's love will live on forever Together in spirit you together will forever fly Through all the tears we cry A true love can never die Don't stop dancing, God will answer all your prayers And you'll be in the arms of an angel forever Things may not be the same, the doorbell never seems to ring But deep down in your heart his song of love will forever sing I wish I could tell the heavens how much of an angel you are to us all He will always be the protege of God and you will always be his hero sincerely Hold on, God will always love you He will always be tucked in the arms of an angel with light For a mother and son's love will live on forever Together in spirit you together will forever fly Through all the tears we cry A true love can never die Don't stop dancing, God will answer all your prayers And you'll be in the arms of an angel forever History will always be rewritten But unconditional love is timeless With every breathe take we will build bridges And when the time is right we will find the distance To Him again... You swear it's so cold you can hear a pin drop Fear not, my friend, He will always come in when you need Him He promises you that he'll be safe forever and when the time is right you will reunite My prayers are always with you, know you are loved by many, you are an angel in vision Hold on, God will always love you He will always be tucked in the arms of an angel with light For a mother and son's love will live on forever Together in spirit you together will forever fly Through all the tears we cry A true love can never die Don't stop dancing, God will answer all your prayers And you'll be in the arms of an angel forever... What a beautiful poem you have written in memory of Floria's son. You truly do have a warm and generous heart Noah. If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |
