~* Was It You *~

I keep searching for that someone
who holds the key to my heart.
It crosses my mind that perhaps
a new life for me will never start.

Do you find love or does it find you,
I pay attention to each hint and clue?
I look in crowds at all the faces,
searching for that love so true.

Perhaps I am meant to be alone,
that thought has crossed my mind.
My choices sure weren’t very good
in the previous men that I'd find.

I don’t need to be swept off my feet,
or have my breath taken away,
but I wish I could just find someone,
to share the joys of every day.

They say, “there’s someone for everyone”,
I heard that saying one day.
So, all I want to know is this ...
Was it you who took my man away?

(sigh) This is soooooo wonderfully written with a little tinge of sadness, sweet friend, I too believe there is someone for everyone and He will protect us all and sympathize with our needs, just as I pray that He will make justice of those who try and steal love from one another compassionately! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is very touching! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I think your man is in a crazy house because he'd have to be CRAZY to leave you. (I did look under my bed to see if he was there...does he look all fluffy and gray like a dust bunny?? If so, then, yep, he's hiding under my bed. In fact, I think I have a whole ARMY of dust bunny men under my bed!!)

And if you find him, see if he's got a brother for me!!!

I LOVED your poem and the picture suits it to a T...which came first, the poem or the picture?

Sharon

That someone is he tall and dark
with eyes of midnight blue
does he drive a big long car
and own a house or two

If so I haven't seen him
but if per chance I do
I'll be sure to give him your email
that's what a friend should do

This was so cute...hugs!

I love that ending Sharon. Totally unexpected. And if someone took mine, they can keep him. It took me long enough to get rid of him, and he’s non returnable. I ain’t taking him back!!! Lol

'Twasn't me, dear lady... your third verse is the story of my life. *G*

I thoroughly enjoyed this, Mysteria. *S* This is the first poem of my morning (hey, it's Saturday *G*)... and what a way to start the day! *G*
