Keyboard is my piano:

Playing out memories of then and now,

Fingers tap dancing across letters forming a life,

Thoughts flickering to life in electric window,

Joy and sorrow becoming partners in this waltz,

Love and hate in whirling dirvish romance song,

Mind singing from atop a melodic mountain,

Thinking just for me yet still just for you,

Unsung lyrics unorganized but oh so real,

Heart beat words tapping on your eyes door,

Rhythmic expressions waiting for an answer,

Brain in passionate concert before no audience,

Never playing solo with music named desire.

Oh yeah, I can't play the piano, but I like the way you play the keyboard. Nice poem.

What a wonderful way to look at it. I've often regretted not playing a musical instrument, now I know I can play my keyboard! Thank you for this.

Poeticdreamer...This is a dream of a poem. Love the imagery of the keyboard you used. Flights of fancy hidden in the fingers that softly touch the keys.
