In Pure Love

There's nothing left to take, it's gone
You're empty now; I'll travel on
Without your heart what good are words
Such empty sounds, a waste when heard.

And though I hurt and cry at night
I'd rather live in truthful sight
I know that God will heal this pain
So I'll start now to end the rain.

I'll plant a little seed of hope
And care and nourish it, and cope
As I demand true love for me
In God with all His Purity.

And as I start a brand new day
I'll not give up! I'll laugh and play
And sing with Angels, heaven's song
Walking upward in Pure Love's throng.
