Please go ahead and take it all your shallow promises and lies you swore one day to love me true but all you do now is deny. Just take it while you slam the door and take my heart out of your hands leave it in pieces on the floor and later, I may understand. Take love and happiness with you for surely I won't need them now take hope and friendship and my dreams I have no use, of this I vow. Yes, take it all, it matters not since you have given me the facts you said you do not love me now If only you would take it back.. |

Sandra, I'm crying. You inspire this little poem. In Pure Love There's nothing left to take, it's gone You're empty now; I'll travel on Without your heart what good are words Such empty sounds, a waste when heard. And though I hurt and cry at night I'd rather live in truthful sight I know that God will heal this pain So I'll start now to end the rain. I'll plant a little seed of hope And care and nourish it, and cope As I demand true love for me In God with all His purity. And as I start a brand new day I'll not give up! Cat, I dunno if we can ever bring ourselves2understand but rather 2accept what is can be alot easier in some cases so I have discovered...
