Even though it's nearly three years since you've been gone I still see you in many shapes and forms I see you in the low lying mist that covers the lake - so calming and comforting is this image Your spirit soars on the wings of a golden eagle so majestic and so graceful in flight I see your image reflected in the golden glow of the sunset as it spreads like a blanket across the sea You come to me in my dreams bringing comfort and warmth to my aching heart You guide me through my pen as I write my words of love But mostly I feel you inside my heart You remain my guiding light and the centre of my universe Memories of you remain like hidden treasure Not many people have seen through the window to my soul but you have allowed that to happen as my love for you is a part of each and every word I write My writing compliments the undying love I feel for you Whilst my love for you continues to bloom so will my words bloom from my heart Without your guidance I remain silent * * * * In memory of my late father who never had the chance to see me as a writer. I recently found out that he used to read poetry with his friend when he was younger so I guess in parting he left me with the greatest gift I could have hoped for aside from his love Suetang |

Sue, this really touched my heart. My son was my biggest supporter, He was most interested in everything I did, whether it was painting or stitching, and he never saw me write because I also received the gift after he died. This meant so much to me Sue, And I am so happy that you were left with that gift, as it truly is a healing tool. And this poem is wonderful. Your father would have been very proud of you..floria Floria |

Barry You are always so gracious in your comments and for that I thank you. Floria I know you feel the pain and heartache I describe and your son obviously loved you so very much to impart the gift of writing to you. Take care........Sue Suetang |

Joanna Thank you for your neverending support. Noah You always lift my spirit with your lovely words. Victoria One of the best things about my writing is that it has allowed me to meet people that otherwise I would not have been fortunate enough to meet, such as yourself. Take care......Sue Suetang |
