Feel the earth on my face, face down in ground,
Feel fire in my soul, cold yet burning,
See black consuming, entombing all sound,
See nothing at all, call words they’re spurning.

Be evermore still, chill in always flames,
Be nowhere but sent, bent in pain of years,
Nothing but decay, stay without remains,
Nothing but your ache, take only your fears.

Earth you now will be, free only to rot,
Earth you now will stay, way down beneath feet,
Fire will torment, spent till years forgot,
Fire punishing, brings past sins to greet.

Earth and fire, desire lost souls in time,
Fire and earth, worth only a simple rhyme.

The cold is only your flesh. Only the spirit exists! All else is simply spirit residue from spirit play.

Wow again a terrific powerful write, I can't help but be drawn to your poetry, It is so strong and so real. I hope you don't stay in the dark prof. I is really nice in the light. hey come out and see for yourself. LOL floria

This is about that cold body left behind,
Perhaps sometime I’ll write about the spirit’s journey,
When I feel myself spiritually capable.

for right there
you can recognize
the shell thats left behind
but void of all
that made them, them
the soul, the heart, the mind

I feel were just passing through.....
just temporary place of learning
