My Heart Still Longs Could this be the end Of forever I spoke Had I been tricked Used as a joke Why am I yearning In heart existing Your gutless silence Knife twisting Heart being fooled I was decieved I had failed to see Having believed Smiles cover pain Of my mistake Heartbreak hides The inside ache In all this trickery Cruel pretend My heart still longs I loved a friend Hope ©2002 |

the ache stings here. . . well done. . . ---------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Gosh Hope...this feeling is part of why I wrote the poem I posted earlier this afternoon. Deception is so painful...I hate to see anyone ever be led along with the feeling of caring from another...only to be led down a path that can't be walked together... I pray you are not feeling this right now.. |

I know how much this hurts. And how the heart still longs. Take care. Nicely expressed. Sandra |
