Miracles On Ice

Into my dreams you come skating about
Waltzing into my life in half-revolutions of rapture
Toe-looping upon my dreams with glitter in your eyes
Surrounded by an audience of angels, beholding our loves treasure

In the jasmine shadows I hold your hand
Waiting for the strumming of the harpsichord
Beginning to swoon with you in a short program of romance
Edging upon destiny’s skates in ballet of amore

Upon eternity’s arena, we axel into each other
Watching the wings of your heart flutter in camel position
As I tie the knots of eternity in a perfect Mazurka
Watching your body arch to the heavens in gorgeous Biellmann

Slowly we come bunny-hopping into each others arms
Sliding with tears of joy to each other in spreading eagle
Arching over backwards, embracing each other lovingly
Lunging into passionate kiss, melting in lovers soul

Happily I hold you, lifting you to eternal light
As you leap from my arms like a dove in Russian split
Falling back to me, catching you close to my beating heart
As we slide together, reaching the grand conclusion

Side by side we triple-lutz in lovers fantasies
As I catch you in my arms in your half-flip
Showering you with kisses as the music stops
Applauded by the heavens as our lips gently kiss

Come join me, my love, on our dreams ice
We’ll forever figure-skate to eternity
With you, my life is always a miracle on ice
We’ll forever dance professionally in love like Peggy Fleming
