Can't Erase The Pain I wish I could erase the pain and hurt inside for it has changed me and this I can never denie Each experiance in life has its place for us our journey to God growth and such But there are some lessons I would rather have not had And wonder If they were even mine If not why I'm left so sad I'm tired of everyone Thinking me so strong Or placing things on me That are just flatt wrong When young I would wonder Why women who's age now be mine Seemed to be bitter right under the surface An afliction of life given enough time Everything is on us The state of our family The state of our marriage Wondering what we did wrong continually Well I tell you this I did my best, every second with out rest, All for you My whole youth, at your very beckon If something was lacking its simply on you, from you not comunicating Or your accusations and scorn With time the effect is accumulating I tried so hard, gave so much Some where I lost the real me The very things that attracted you Surpressed, I know you can see Tusting, loving, kind Happy, opionated, confident Cup half full all the time Full of life, a special spark Search is on in me for thease Adult version with knowledge Wisdom to hold them dear Not be beat by lifes college By Connie McDonald Copyright@2001 April 14, 2001 |

(big hugggsssss) We're all soooo proud of you, sweet friend, my heart goes out to you and all you had to go through before, but I know deep down you will become the loving woman you dream to be and all you hope for will come to you! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, you are sunshine to us all! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Connie, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Actually, I see this as a strong argument as to why you Wouldn’t want to erase the pain. The memory of the pain is what binds the lesson, Harsh as it seems, It’s the most effective method of learning. Why else would pain be so easy And happiness so hard to achieve? Gloom |
