An easy miss, I guess it was
the hard heart of my valentine
No problem with my heart at all
an arrow through with fierce design.

Cupid has had this deficit
for many years, I think he needs
a replacement, or bifocals
more competence in all his deeds.

Enough of this mismatching now
he needs to straighten out or go
because this time he blew it bad
and he's supposed to be the pro.

Next year I must see better things
from cupid, yes he should beware
and aim his arrows true to mark
my valentine and I, a pair.

(smiles) Awwwwwwww, this reminded me of Hope's poem "Cupid Needs Glasses", this is so sad but beautiful and cute!
