You scaled the stones to cast your vision upon my dance By chance that eve the Night was lingerie Perhaps the heels made a difference as you’d never seen anyone beat the drums before with such female distinction as if the skin was only meant for someone tough or burly When the illusion is pearl handled and carved by a strong willed soul the beat can be heard for miles even if by a slender hand penetrating the hardest most undisturbed minds making them sensitive, receptive as the wind through a virgin’s hair as a maiden whose year long wait has just ended with the sound of her sailor’s voice strong behind the hanging wash Even as a man, who just found his heart could truly beat above the sound of his own voice above the distraction in his mind and climb there in homing knowing full the measure that completes the rhythm within me |

Reg, "knowing full the measure that completes the rhythm within me" And I'm sure he's not telling! Drat. I'm thinking about that cold shower again. Thanks. |
