Sonnet Sized (based on Sonic, America's Drive-In)

The systematic roll of window first
As thunder turns my nerves into a glue
And only one thing now will quench my thirst
A greater love than Ocean Water blue!
I push the button, red, to place my call
My order, she asks, is it now at hand?
I do not wish this time to end at all
So garbled words, she will not understand
Insistent now, she asks that I repeat
By every means, she wants to get it right
Do I want a single or double meat
My words, unheard, and so she stays from sight
Her feet are not iambic, nor are the fries
So I ask she take it back and make it Sonnet Sized

(giggles in delight) Awwwwwww, this is sooooooo funny and cute, in Colorado we have many new Sonics and I know all about the drive-in service and they come to you on roller-blades with the treats, ooohhhhh...I hope when you ordered the sonnet size the server didn't trip on a couplet! (giggles) we all love you so much, sweet friend, this is fabulous! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Walter, thank you for sharing!
