What is a poem to me?
A poem is quite unique,
It doesn't always have to be nsync,
Sometimes it short, finished in a blink,
Other times it goes to oceans deep,
What is a poem to me?
It's one of many layers,
Like a cake, it's many flavors,
It opens different worlds,
Some of sadness, tears, madness,
even gladness,
What is a poem to me?
It opens up my eyes,
Filled with many a surprise,
Sometimes I can't even surmise,
But the value of a poem is rich beyond compare,
When it opens up my heart.

thanks passing shadows sometimes it seems words just don't flow , but once I begin to talk about poetry the words were quite nsyc.

(smiles) Awwwwwww, this is soooooo beautfiully heartfelt, sweet friend, may we always have our cake and eat it too and enjoy all that poetry has to offer us!
