he said he wanted
to write a five seven rhyme
she said she’d do it
writing when she had the time,

styles not the same
he was sure she’d agree
she bent to his will
but only in their poetry

she sat with pencil
scribbled and scrawled with flair
intently writing
choosing each word with great care.

he waits patiently
sitting in his quiet room
thinking deeply of
poetic passion of gloom

she just contemplates
myriad colors of spring,
and the fragrances
that the new blooming will bring

**Thanks PG, had a great time with this!

I enjoyed it also,
what did it take a week and a half?
I forgot,
which part did I write?

The experiences (which may be considered quirky) of writing a duet were captured well with this writing.

It's difficult to write with someone you don't really know..this attempt was our first but I hope not the last. I highly recommend this for jumpstarting a quirky muse!
