~Riding The Rainbow~ I’m riding the rainbow in spangled hue Lifted into wonder I’m beloved by you The touch of your smile lifts my soul Freed from restraint I’m completely whole I’ve been washed in loves living light Bathed in truth, caressed by delight I’m held enraptured and loved by you I feel reborn I’ve been made anew I thought before that love knew me I believed in dreams implicitly I’ve chased desire and taken my fill Skipped ahead and missed it still I’ve tumbled into trouble again Felt tears of anger tears of pain And all the while I never knew The wonder of simply loving you I’m riding the wind so high and free Speeding into peace loved totally The stars reflect in my lovesick eyes From my lips seep softly wondering sighs The days flow into bliss filled night Where together we learn more delight Nothing could be better than this To receive such love held in your kiss Marsha To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |
