I once struggled to be like the rest,
I once decided I would be like them,
I once deicided I wanted to be the best,
I once decided I would never go down that path again.

I then realized it best to be me,
I then realized they where not so great,
I then realized winning isnt everything, youll see,
I then realized, I was far too late.

I had already begun to be what I was before,
I had already begun to become everything I hate,
I had already begun to make people pleed, "no more",
I had already begun to become a snake.

But now I rise from my ashes,reborn,
But now when I look in a mirror i only see love,
But now noone I know has felt my scorn,
But now I am a dove.

What I was,
What Ive done,
What Ive seen,
What Ive felt,
It's Over

yaknow TriXter, I must say I can relate very well to this one and I'm glad I stopped to read it. It sounds like something I would have written about my relationship and my job and my life here. I will be starting a new life soon. Thanks for sharing.
