She sat with empty wishes
Scattered on the floor
Listened to the walls wonder why
He doesn’t come ‘round any more

Broken dreams echo from the corners
They too, miss him so much
She just stares at hisfreeze~framed smile
Pictures of once upon a time, touch

Expressionless tears fall with no sound
Knowing she feels what they can’t convey
It’s the same ‘ole heartache
Just a different day…..

(big hugggsssssss) This is so very sad, sweet friend, I too know this kind of heartache so well and I dream of finding stillness of heart and a way to make all my dreams come true and make each day like a holiday! (kiss on cheek) This is sad but beautiful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Susan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

If it helps any, knowing why doesn't really make it any easier.  Just my experience.  Now that's funny!!!
Cheer up...I hear it's gonna rain!

beautiful and melancholy. I was also left wondering why he doesn't come around anymore.  you made me feel her loss as if it had been mine once.

Love, Light and Peace,

Sherry

Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow.
But above all... be kind to yourself today.

Your tears do have sound, because I hear them.     (((hugs)))

Susan, wow, you have said this too well. Same old day, more sadness, no answers.
I still ask why, too.
Peace

knowing why? Hmmm... the why so often makes little sense to us..and if it is told..it often seems it makes no sense to us and perfect sense to them....

nicely done my friend... and a hug to you for your day

dry your salty tears
look up and find a new love
walk into my arms

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Sometimes, the rain sounds differently if you listen with the soul.

Thank you.

Yes, I think we’ve all sat with our empty wishes surrounding us. Such a soft and tender write of the hearts longing Susan.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Susan,
Time...it takes a lot of time. And the more rainy days the less time it takes.
