Spring is supposed to be a wet time When the warmth from the south Brings with it the moisture That renews all things, Turning brown to green again Providing the store of water for dryer times It hasn’t rained much this year And what has fallen only seems to Quench sparks that were meant to Last until the climate changes And such stoked fires are not needed To warm night and days I usually like the clouds But some are more ominous than others Spinning through the days or nights Ripping apart things so carefully built Leaving us with the ruins to pick through And rebuild if enough has not splintered I wait now As clouds play in azure realms Wondering if such clouds will Tear this house apart [This message has been edited by Cpat Hair (04-01-2002 05:40 PM).] |

(sigh) Wow, this is both very beautiful and eerie, sweet friend, I too have that feeling when I look at dark clouds as if it is a harbinger of something ominous to come, though I always know the impression is that the rain will fall and make everything anew again with lushness and green! (big hugggssssss) This is very wonderfully said, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! The clouds transform like the ocean recesses through the sands of time, and I am reminded of that very time that waits for no one. Wish I knew the words to comfort you Cpat. I guess all I can say is that your words comfort me in a strange way, making me feel less alone. |

It's those clouds behind the eyes that will bring the walls down... well done Sir...all three, each alone and together, have painted such an awesome portrait... |

Sigh. And so ends the three...well, the three so far unless more are coming. ~Reaches out to hug Ron~ Wonderful examples of metaphorical exploration - all of them. Sad for the hurt if it's autobiographical... K [This message has been edited by Severn (04-02-2002 06:54 AM).] |
