Burden carried, every last stone
Not be married, remain alone
The task taken, unbearable weight
Love forsaken, before the gate.

A vision held, is growing dim
Of love once felt, of her and him
Two hearts in beat, once then entwined
A love truly sweet, as ever did find.

Lonely lost thought, once felt so strong
Gently once sought, eternity of song
Left to wander, in feelings of two
Nightly ponder, this search for you.

What then it was...no longer to be
Love’s gentle buzz, of flying bee
Lost in a place, truth with no lies
Tears in my face, as one heart cries.

Turning away, not able to say
of what once was, no longer will stay
Left with a tear, falling from eyes
as I sing dear, sad lullabies

Sorry Mushy....I changed my mind...(I told her I
wasn't going to post a poem today)

Chivalry is not dead.  I saw it coughing up lung butter last night, but it was still alive.  I think it has parvo.

Magnus darling boy I forgive you, this is an absolutely fabulous piece from you. YOU as I’ve mentioned maybe one or twice are an absolutely fabulous writer. The softness of this the gentle dying of the love is so incredibly sadly sweet it really tugs at my hearts string. YOU have written an utterly utterly beautiful poem and I love it.

Excellent writing darling boy

Love and warm stuff
As always

Seems sad for you, sir Barry.
But touching my heat, as always.

Were you peeking in my room last night??

(big hugggssssss) Oh Barry, this is so very sad, I have never actually felt this kind of experience but I can still feel for many who experience this, for I would be heartbroken too if I had to endure this kind of rejection just when it feels the gates of eternity will open ajar! (sigh) This is sad but powerful, sweet friend, we all love you so much and wish you the happiest Easter! (big chocolate bunny hugs) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Well expressed, I relate very much to this~
