Lift Every Rock

I often sit and poke my mind
To lift some rocks see what I’d find.
I never know what’s underneath
A gem perhaps wrapped in a sheath.

Each shadow does a dance for me
Of hidden thoughts that’s brewed a tea.
And when I sip this potions wet
It often places me in debt.

A fallow field is good to sew
Once rested of a constant grow
It wields a power like a flower
And yields the essence of an hour.

And I am off to phantoms rook
To take a second longer look
To dig me up a treasure mart
That’s buried here within my heart.

I ask you lift your rock of ages
There is magic in old pages.

Seymour darling boy, this is utterly perfect the simplicity the elegance and the grace this is written with is perfectly delicious. I love it utterly but you knew that didn’t you. Wonderful writing as always.

I’m not disorientated by painkillers today so you should have a more sensible and truthful reply. Not that yesterday’s wasn’t truthful it was, but it was a little light-headed too. YOUR writing is always superb and YOU know I really love it. Excellent writing

Sy, Stunning as I knew it would be
We often have to take a look into our hearts,
You expressed it exquisitly

I liked the message here
and the hope that lies beneath those rocks.
I knew it was there all along, I just forget to look sometimes!!

You write so nice Mr. Tabin~
