You're the writing on my invitation
the reason for my celebration
you're the surprise that makes my party,
the keeper of my eyes upon the door.

You are my inspiration
the reason for my favors
you are the streamers from the rafters
the helium that fills up my balloons.

You are my favorite flavor
the peppermint in my candy
the sugar on my lips
the p-nut butter pieces,
broken into bits.

You are the colors of my ribbons
the chocolate in my swirl
you are the shaker of my sprinkles
that decorate my sundaes.

You are the one that shares my scoop
the hands that hold my spoon
the fire that lights my candles
and every wish I make.

You're the champaign in my punch
the icing on my cake
the proportion of my slice
the china pattern on my plate.

You are the stirrer of my temptation
the sunshine on my cone
the trickle of my fascination
melting slowly down.

You are the silver lining
inside a velvet box
the gift of your mere presence,
is my diamond in the sky.

(smiles) I got that Pink song stuck in my head reading this, may everyday be a holiday to you with true love singing in your heart, this is gorgeous!
