I heard it in your voice that hurry feet running sound to tell me with little girl voice how the woman inside ached for my strong word end you were bad jello in my mind hands I heard the wet sounds of your mouth as you tried to pray in our language but you were shy and did swallow words when the dark man came you left the door open on purpose he called you names you didn't remember you gave him your treasures in white wrappers and asked me to help him carry you to the backyard for burial you said you were sorry to be dug up but you might want to be again sometime if the both of us were willing... ©Dark |
