Tears Of Pearls When teardrops fall in the morning light they bathe in buttered rum smiles, arise of sun and swirl in sigh of air down cheeks aflush awash over watercolour dreams that splash the linen-laced sky in shades of blue. And, they pirouette to dip in the palette of rainbow arching waves across the sea of sky with it's ebb flow of kaleidoscope paintbrush. The clouds choreograph imagination and dance into one as diamonds from the crown jewel worn by the heart's glisten of eyes that flies into pieces through the tawny horizon of love's last breath. Yet, in the end, the cascade of tears free fall into pools of pearls in the set of today's cry with the promise of tomorrow's awakening of kiss. By Melissa P.
