In Silent Prayer

oh Lord help me
I am in need of your care
slip your hand inside of mine
let me know you are there
I am lost at land
I am lost at sea
drowning in the air I breathe
set my spirit free
sleep upon sheets of stone
no manna do I eat
no path seems familiar
I can not guide my feet
I sit here quietly waiting
no answers do I know
place your hand upon my back
point the way to go

helen - from reading your poem I feel your hurt. I needed Him too, and it finally happened. Hang in there, it may take some time, but it will get better.
