Dancing Dragons

tiny dragons dance
on my porch
playing hide and seek
drinking water
from my plants
to them
a jungle boutique
me,  I am no Guinevere
but I still
watch them
as they play
King Arthur would
have had a laugh
if he could see
the dragons of my day
Camelot may have
had many things
and Merlin
was its wizard
today I relax in
my own Camelot
and marvel
at the dance of lizards

"Pour yourself thick, when it is you, that you spread."

It must be yucky to dance with a lizard

I've never kissed a frog ... never wanting a handsome prince, you understand

What do you have to kiss to get a pretty princess?  Nooooooooooooo, don't tell me

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
