Behold the rising of Lord Helios; retreat of night, its darkness broken, by the breath of dawn’s first glow, another day in splendor woken. In distant meadow, songbirds sing, heralding of night’s begone, crest to crest, day’s light advances, shadows of the night withdrawn. Cascading over man and beast, Upon the earth, new day imbues, God’s palette from the heaven’s high, Pastelled rose and crimson hues. Sun’s rise frozen in the east, for but a second, time stands still, nature stands as one with God, in the glory, of dawn’s fulfill. |
