Property Wanted for Love By Larry Chadwick I have decided to become a gardener, If only I can find enough land to seed. It will give me the chance to give, Enough flowers to express loves need. The florist can’t keep up with me, And the love that wants to show. So I’m looking for acres and acres, Where all my flowers will grow. It has to be a special place, That can offer such diversity, A greenhouse for the exotic, And land as far as you can see. Then the house will be full, And yard will overflow as well. Not to mention all the land, That raise flowers I won’t sell. So it seems so fitting to know, That oceans of flowers will be, A demonstration of being adrift, On the waves of my loves sea. Seems you don't do anything in moderation. Diamonds are all great and fine but flowers speak a language all their own and you've arranged them so well. Oh Larry, you are quite the romantic at heart. This is lovely~ I hope your little lady knows just how lucky she is. Acres and acres? Really now!! |

Lyra, Grandpa said the green thumb was a myth. It was a brown thumb as good gardening is just lots of weeding. Thanks. And yes. Denise, It seems I heard that somewhere before. Thanks. Lori, Since I tend to strongly dislike diamonds...strictly on appearance you understand, flowers are my thing. Thanks. Lauren, Now if only I could find a beacon of hope! Thanks so very much. |
