HI everyone...
The story behind, is that I live in a builting with alot of floors in it, and one morning when I was on my way to school. I saw this little girl, who came running crying down the stairs, with her mother screaming at her, and she practicly ran down underneath the stairs. So that's where the whole Idea for this song came from...I hope you will enjoy it...

Best Wishes,

Brian.

V1:
Underneath the stairs
Is where she keeps all her secrets
She got a world of her own
Where she leaves the things she regrets
A place where she feels at home
Where she'll never feel alone...

V2:
Underneath the stairs
Is where she paints her memories
Where she can be anything
Where her lost soul can find relief
Whenever the line's too thin
Where she is allowed to sin...

C:
She feels like a broken bottle,
That splinters against wall.
Offen she wonders if somone,
Will catch her if she might fall.
But she is always in denial,
'Cause there is only one place where,
She doesn't feel hurt or scared...
Underneath the stairs.

V3:
Underneath the stairs
Is where she dream herself away
From the troubles in her heart
Oh, how she wish that she could stay
So she'd never fall apart
Just stay underneath the stairs...

C:
She feels like a broken bottle,
That splinters against wall.
Offen she wonders if somone,
Will catch her if she might fall.
But she is always in denial,
'Cause there is only one place where,
She doesn't feel hurt or scared...
Underneath the stairs.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Brian, this is soooooo heatbreaking, my heart cries out to this poor little girl and the angst she feels from her mother, I pray that soon she will find the comfort and heart to escape from that place underneath the stairs and find her place underneath the rainbow where all her hopes and dreams will come true! (big huggsssssss) My heart and prayers are with her, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Brian, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

A good write on a sad subject. I do hope the child is not being abused, but that Mom just had a very bad day...it's a terrible thing when that last nerve is stepped on...
