I often see you there, in the bright sun of life
Soaking up what u can, away from the rain,
As I watch, all I’ve ever known if this feeling called pain.
When a moment approaches that I may talk, laugh, Dance with thee
Another knight comes, and takes u from me.

My heart overcome with mixed emotions,
Pain, hate, fear, jealousy, there all here
As I stand back and watch u smile, I can’t stop but shed a tear.
You’re smile can bright up the darkest room,
When u smile, everyone’s face lights with glee,
But my heart starts to die because I know, one will never be for me.

I die more each day just wanting to breathe the same air as you,
It’s my dream, but like most of its kind, it will never come true.
You could be my someone, you could be with me
Will I ever get over these shackles that entangle me,
This shyness that stops me from doing so much.
Jenn, this we will see.
