Aching Without You
AMK
3/22/02

I miss you so much
Seems I'm going to lose my mind
Your memory lingers with me in all I do
If I had one wish, it would be to make time rewind

I look around at this apartment
Feeling you in every room there is
Even though I hear your voice on the phone
It can't replace the magic of your kiss

I know that you miss me just the same
That this longing is something we must for now bear
Just please know my sweet darling
That I love you and will always care

I close my eyes for a moment
Your face is right before me
I cherish everything about you from your smile to your heart
Praying that our love lasts for eternity

I've never known a person like you
One that completes my heart and soul
By your side I will be soon my love
Then once again I'll feel whole

I miss you, aching with my need
Blinking back the tears, that I know I should cry
Thinking back to that fateful day when you left
Even though it wasn't a "true" good-bye

My heart breaks without you here with me
Still I hang on as each day passes into the next one
As I wish upon a star
That soon our lives will have begun

"you can't stop
the rain
from pouring down
can't stop the
world from turning 'round
can't stop me from
loving you
no matter
what you do

there is always the storm that leads to the calm. . . fear not, and be strong. . . for soon, every storm ends. . .and the sun shines brightly. . .

well done my friend. . .

Waiting to begin your life, how sad. Perhaps it won't be too long.
