fine bottled wine by way
of sorcery

Magnum meets Magus

I sink into the depths
of his inkwell
dipping in black thoughts
that meet sunlight’s call

contented smiles
lifted easily by his quill

light the candle’s wick, Sire,
and write one more
for all

Into the light of candle's flames
A knight rides of two blended names
To pen the words from quill and pen
of dragons, maids and fighting men.

I shall write the words of desire
born of heart, soul and hottest fire
A flame shall light page's black ink
with penned words of that which I think.

Thank You Decaflame...I have never had any
poet write a poem about me...somewhat
mysterious, but also very pleasing...

WOW!!! Oh my gosh, this is soooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I agree, Barry is a wonderful friend and poet and his well is always filled with infinite enchantment!
