i walk down the street telling lies to myself convincing me to hope that when i came back home you would still be there waiting for me tears swell in my eyes when things i said to you sound back in my ears oh, how wrong i was to speak to you that way i realise this now hope it is not too late hope that you will forgive my big mistake i walk down the street, feeling sad like the rain that falls on my face on all my bad days i really am sorry, and that’s all i want to say hope it is not too late hope you would hear me say i am sorry |

Sudhir so nice to see your post - and such a sad one at that. Your poem is one I bet the majority of people have felt at one time or another, and I felt all the emotions in this writing, excellent! The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives. |
