So much pain I hold from the past
Remaining thoughts hauntingly last
Sorrows buried deep inside
From those emotions I can’t hide.

To sort them through oh how I have tried
I can’t get past the tears~ and the lies.
A different place, a different year
Still those memories bring back a fear.

I give my heart with love and devotion
As it drifts away on smooth sailing oceans
But trust is so hard to again try to grow
I can’t chase this away, it just will not go.

It scares me to try to do this again
Please, oh please let love finally win.
Oh couldn’t someone just please tell me how
To let go of the past~ and live in the now?

Love and Truth

We always have our memories
As we walk each new day
But there's a choice, one always sees
When going forth to play.

To look ahead at life's new road
Or live in constant fear
Be free to give just love and go
Or look back in a mirror.

The safest way I've found to do
Is never to forget
But walk ahead, eyes open, too
New truth is better yet.

Always walk in truth. Look! See!
New Love will bind to stay
For Love and Truth in Purity
Is always God's Best Way.
