No one knows exactly how homing pigeons ever find straightway to their home, how across many miles, from fine Paris to rustic Rome, or from the Galapegos to British isles, directly without a wind- -ing course they know. Could it be magnetic pulses, or a sense of smelling sight? To their homeland nest, where they first hatched, there go they without rest, their targetting unmatched. It could be these pigeons might, be birthed with such impulses. I believe that it really be, a string attached from one end, from home to the pigeon's heart, that across so many miles, with celerity they depart, be it plain or Emerald isle, as an arrow does not bend, goes the pigeon- it need not see. And thus it is that we may, across this nation of the free, keep our hearts fast together, and know each other's soul- matters not the storm, the weather, inclimate tempests do not toll, our beings' knowledge, you agree, of the other's intimate soul each day. -Derek |

Streen I have read about this and I always wondered how they did that, I like the string idea, a sky full of strings tied to their hearts. Nice. floria Floria |

(big hugggsssssss) BRAVO!!! Oh Derek, I love this thought so very much, just like "home is where the heart is", and He leads us all home to each other with strings, almost like a magnetic field of love attaching us to one another in harmony and hope! (sigh) This is fabulous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Derek, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |
