The slow progress of time
Reads like the beats of rhyme
In that I must rely
On every passerby
To read me as I’m penned
With more their time to spend
Than as a rule would choose
For some their song to lose

I love the many layers of this and the inference that what we read is not always as you write...or maybe I'm reading something into it that is not there. lol.
