Come to me, Brigadoon…. dream the dream want the want tease the seem thrill the taunt come to me, O Brigadoon carry me there, to the moon saw it in his eyes saw the dancer, dance saw within his soul O the sweet romance come of me, O Brigadoon carry me there, to the moon to love a love that is a dream to make one shine to see the gleam! come with me, O Brigadoon carry me there, to the moon feel the course feel the stream feel the dance upon moonbeam come to me, O Brigadoon carry me there, to the moon now dance the merry dance now chance the sweetened chance now sing the song, romance! now feel swift, soft, the lance! come of me, O Brigadoon carry me there, to the moon and when the dream ends lend to me the mend pray I lean on the thought of the one that taught come to me, O Brigadoon carry me back, from the moon sweet dance, sweet chance golden lance, sung romance…. thank you, Brigadoon…. One of the ways I celebrate my birthday each year is to carve some time to spend with my VCR and Brigadoon... so you can probably guess how much I love this poem. *S* Experience to the contrary, I still allow a belief - if you love someone deeply enough, anything can happen... even miracles? *S* I thank you for this, Lady. *S* |
