Peace is thought a snow white dove, Soaring high on winds above, With olive branch held in its beak, End of all war, does bird bespeak. I think not; of dove oppugn, On winds of time are feathers strewn, Peace comes not from winds above, War hides not from snow white dove. I ask myself, of what is peace? To what serenity, does war surcease? I am afraid no answer lies, Within man's breast, and so peace dies. |

(big hugggssssssss) This is so sad but well-expressed, sweet friend, I too believe that peace seems impossible, but I believe if only we together can be enlightened and we can all harmonize with one another, we will all the earn the ability to create peace to one another and make it probable! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, I pray for this to come true for the world! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tim, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Hi Tim! Liked your poem. You expressed well the sense of futility that we share with you, and the sadness that we carry in our hearts. Wish the world could keep peace alive. Thanks for posting. Shenachie |

Hmm... I'm going to be thinking on that one for a while... I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather, not screaming, terrified, like his passengers. |

Tim darling boy this is utterly wonderful this has got to be one of you utter utter best. Truly the line and flow in this is absolutely excellent. YOU are a very good writer and this proves it. Much to ponder on here, and I believe that good will prevail, I guess Iām too much an optimist to consider anything else. Love and warm stuff As always Mushy To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |

Well said Tim. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |
