Poisoned birth "The Lord saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time." NIV Genesis 6:5 My life is before me; water flows round Jagged rocks are my bed 'long winding shores As I run and whirl splashing over ground Picking up debris flowing down to sea. A river flowing under skies of blue Filled with fish and water life fed by springs Just bursting with melting snow rising, too Carrying, cleansing earth's garbage and things. Once I was pure; my bottom you could see I slowly flowed, the incline of my bed Then I met man, a devil who came to me With words of poison; now my food is dead. I lost my sweet pureness; ugliness came Into my waters spoiling joys I knew Making ugly polluted fluid rain And now, I'm poisoned, my fish are few. O God, why did you make man to walk earth? He kills! Your Life dies now in poisoned birth. Poisoned birth. Newell darling boy this is utterly utterly wonderful writing. As always your words are filled with HIS truth and again this has fallen down the lists too quickly. This is so well written the feelings simply flow all through it. ![]() ![]() ![]() Love and warm stuff As always Mushy ![]() ![]() To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |
