what poem ever really is, until someone prints it in stone... he leads with his right in all he does while I, in this diabetes thing, lead with my stomach she doesn’t know anymore where to find food she goes looking but can’t remember I had already answered her “Feed me, feed me!” call she has a sweet tooth, too, starts dancing with delight upon her imaginings her gnawing begins long before the aroma of flavors are savored rousing that which I’d suppressed with all my might in the fight for balance, control (maybe this should be called "Struggles" or a Pie Slice of Life) Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

(sigh) Such a wonderfully expressive poem, sweet friend, poetry has always been an addiction to me and always can inspire us and we crave to write our words in stone! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is fabulous! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Virginia, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! it's a very interesting, pensive write with layers of perspective... i liked it a lot... it's done once it's done.. .. i think many times writings can be overworked jack kerouac said, "first thought, best thought"... though i believe in rewriting and editing until you are happy that your work says what you wanted it to say, sometimes working it too much can muddy the colors, ruin the painting you did a great job with this... how about calling it "too much sugar" just an idea thanks for the read! great work! |

Virginia, I die with you looking to eating something good! That diabetes is a terrible thing. I have many friends who suffer from it. And there seems to be no answer but diet, exercise and medication. As far as when it's done. It's always done - for a moment. And never done, when you want to change it. Thanks for sharing.
