River Of Dreams

Slowly it moves though meadows free
savouring nature’s scent
Weaving visions of what would be
leaving the heart content

As over stones of life it goes
washing the pebbles clean
Another dream it will compose
of love that is unseen

Around each bend it wends its way
through fields and forests green
Over falls with refreshing spray
flows silent and serene

Needing what my heart and soul craves,
lost in fantasy themes
I’ll float upon the warmth of waves
in my river of dreams

Karen darling girl this is simply gorgeous, absolutely perfect. The flow of this river of words is a pure delight. Beautifully written, well done

You know I love this don’t you? Of course you do now go and write something I can keep up with. This is beauty too rich and fair for everyday use. Absolutely perfect writing

Karen - This flows as beautifully as a river does.  Nicely done.

Karen, your pen, is a quill writing with pure honey instead of ink. How could you know that my soul is craving to be sitting on the bank of your river, or on a raft slowly drifting down your lazy waters, staring at the trees, listening to the birds, just thinking of you.

"Needing what my heart and soul craves,
lost in fantasy themes
I’ll float upon the warmth of waves
in my river of dreams"

How could you know, Karen? You have penned me a perfect day. Thank you.
