The pain is still here you can feel it everywhere.
American`s are still showing how much they care.

September 11,2001 in our hearts will forever be.
The day that Americans fell to their knees.

But not from being weak or afraid.
But to get on their knees and begin to pray.

The terroists thought they could bring Americans down.
I think they should stop and take a look around.

Our hearts were broken from inocent lives lost.
But these murderers will pay at any cost.

I have sat in front of my tv and freely cried.
For all of these precious people who have died.

Men,women and children are now gone.
They now call heaven their new home.

Our flag still waves freely in the air.
To show our freedom and how much we care.

So to all the terroists whomever you may be.
America is and will always be the land of the free.

Juanita my dearest friend darling girl oh this is sooooooo good. Truly outstanding, as always, you are such a fine poet. I love the way you’ve written this, it’s utterly superb, the flow is divine all the way through. This is a truly fabulous tribute, and we shall never forget, I promise and you know me and promises I never break them unless I have to.

Juanita - Amen to that! Even to this day, I see the footage and it just seem so surreal. I just can't believe it happened, but sadly it did.
