A garden planted by God - a choka inspired by Gloom

"Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden;
and there he put the man he had formed" NIV Genesis 2:8.

A garden planted
By God grew and grew each day
Small flowers blooming
As the rain and warm sunshine
Were breathed by spirits
As they inhaled oxygen
Exhaled CO2
And spread joy in the forest
A garden planted by God.

Thank you, floria. The form is simple. Just write a tanka minus the last line, and insert any number of line couples of (5 and 7 syllables) before the last line of 7.

As Gloom said: 5,7,5, any number of (5,7), 7
