Dyspepsia

Drinking sham drams of raspberry tea
From an old formula of secrecy
Each sip pressing the seem of the dream
To the fullest of a fancy extreme

Off I whisked to my garden of wile
Where my randy dragon, flies me in style
And we wait among the daffodils
For a butterfly of many skills

She never fails to visit me there
With her lovely share of magic dare
And there we dance a rhapsodies rhyme
Fantasies hours that mark no time.

A world far better than reality
Even much better than any can be
It is the promise of jelly and jam
And I’m the man for just such a scam.

I’m a fantiholic of the ideal
With a dyspeptic colic, for the real

Whisper, whisper, for the moth
he's here now, in web of caught
he awaits, come, bring the tea
for no one serves it just like thee

his fantasy should soar this day
Randy beguiles in no other way
bring two cups, no, maybe four
for I would watch, from open door

but eavesdrop not, just watch the smiles
as mystic the rainbow covering miles
seafoam delight, meet effervesce...
and delight us all in fantasy's nest...

Reality is really over rated ....
Give me the fantasy understated.
Brew the tea till it steams in sweetened schemes
Then pour it in cups of daffodil dreams.

Let the nectar's bouquet carry us away
Let the fragrance sway to lead us astray.
We will fly to a place hidden behind time
A garden in the mind that blooms of rhyme.

Meet me where the butterflies fly forever free
Where a dragon's dream is deemed destiny
A place where reality is dallied in double dutch
For it's there we will feel fantasy's touchless touch

If this dreamer's conceal holds any appeal
Will you join me for some raspberry reveal of surreal

Sy

That rascally dragon
fell of the wagon
driking the drought
in tea dreams caught

Loved it!

Great job, Sy...this is the first one I've seen about Randy in quite a while.
Its good to hear about him again.
