Mysterious vase of midnight blue, it intrigues Pristine whitecaps gather around in a blotchy pattern An odd shape for a vase... a vertical sea-storm of rolling waves In and out, it ebbs and flows Strangely, it disturbs and mesmerizes This rollicking twister with it's liquid heart It gives the strong impression of wild thrashing movement even as it is eerily still So dark and deeply profound is the coloring Yet, as light plays across the softly rounded curves it shimmers with a shallow, translucent vitality What a curious object this vase is... this watery cyclone spirit encased in glass. |

And do you also collect paperweights...I would think you do, judging from this...there is something so strange about glass...mercurial and magical... ah yes, this one likes me.... |
