Dashed upon the rocks Hope shattered and abused When will I ever learn To not become enthused High can only mean a low Will follow quickly thereafter I find myself on the floor Looking up at the rafter Heart calms rapid beating Breath returns to norm Equilibrium found After emotions storm Sadness now enshrouds Where passions once played Dreams of what would be Languish into fade |

*sigh* Oh my gosh...did this ever hit home...I have the problem of becoming to excited about the possibility of a dream coming true as well then I wake up to the true reality....*sigh* guess I will never learn that dreams are just dreams...My heart goes out to you, dear one. **big hugs** Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sharon, this is so very sad, my heart goes out to you and I hope all is well with you now and you have found a dream to hold close forever with cheer! (kiss on cheek) Many dreams may never come true, but I believe a few ones we love most of all can! We all love you so so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Stop that. Dreams only die when you bury them. Don't make me come typing after you... |

Thank you for sharing this beautiful, soul wrenching poem with us, PDV. It really struck a note with me Actually it struck a whole chord. It always seems that when life becomes really fantastic, I end up paying a very steep price for it...with something very tragic. I wrote a poem about this some time ago, called "Silver Lining". If I can dig it up, I'll post it here for you. I hope that things turn around for you soon. lots of big huggss copyright2002 Lyra Nesius |

PdV, You better listen to serenity. Pity parties are best enjoyed only if they're brief! |

Excellently said. But would the valleys be as gorgeous without the gloriousness of the mountains and vice versa? How would we recognize the magnamity of either without the other? (easily said in the high times) Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Relating in a BIG way. But the strangest thing is, I feel worse when I am not getting excited about something, even when I know the outcome will be bad. I'm not sure if they call that crazy..lol. Oh well. Sigh.. Peace Sandra |

Thank you all!! I appreciate your kind replies and your commiseration. I tend to get too excited sometimes and then when it's brought to my attention I feel foolish! |
