When Fluffy went to war
What pomp and foofaraw
He marched out the door
With a flash of his paw
To the tip of his tail
All bedizened and bedecked
With bells and bows and fancy clothes
He looked so proud and circumspect

(big hugggsssssss) Oh my gosh, I couldn't help but cry reading this poem to think of all the poor families and their reactions when their pets are stolen from them to be put into war! (sad sigh) This is so very sad, sweet friend, my heart goes out to both the pets and the families! We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is soooo emotionally powerful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

The thought of my two 'fluffies' going to war makes me laugh. Two mini fox terriers would put fear into the heart of any battle toughened soldier.
