Madame Chipmunk, I have been here. I like your poem. Your choice of words and their placement makes it powerful. |

(big hugggssssss) Oh Lyra, I know this feeling ever too well myself, I have missed my dream girl so much this last week and I dream of her ever so much but I fear I may never see her sometimes and that saddens me, just as I tend to fear so much other things, and I always try and remind myself that everything will be alright! (kiss on cheek) My heart goes out to you, sweet friend, may you free yourself of all these chains and finde hope and delight in all your heart desires, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lyra, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (03-07-2002 10:47 PM).] |

Fear is but a word spawned within the mind. One which, unchecked grows and consumes all else... You have written of this word well...yet it is only that...a word.... Nicely done Lyra...I hope you are not within the walls of fear...and that your key has opened the door.. |

And I shall stand alone... with you... well done Lyra...you know how to let it out, and you do it with style, and grace... and a heart bigger than the fear... |

Lyra, you paint a most vivid description of fear, the kind that can really eat on someone when they dwell on it. Your poem is a masterpiece depicting the fear monster. I pray that you are okay, not letting yourself be captured by this merciless tyrant of the darkness. A big illusion! The best antidote of fear is simply love. God's Love. And you have many loving souls here at passions to share love with you. Take our love, it is free, and some of us are very bold and absolutely refuse to let any fear conquer us, whatsoever. And I feel that you, too are very strong. So let us start a strong loving alliance against all fear! ((Lyra)) -newell Sharing God's Love through perfectlovepoetry.com |

but I seem, of late...to have lost myself in fear and pain so unjustly dealt I can imagine where you’re coming from with this. The “why me” of it all. It just doesn’t make sense does it? I hope and pray that all goes well for you. If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

Lyra There is stength in your words...I have been thinking of you and I want you to know that I see you so clearly, the victor. |

Lyra darling girl this is exceptionally good writing, the images that you’ve painted in this are utterly utterly outstanding the ache the souls black fear, they are clearly portrayed. Darling heart you’ll be okay trust me. I know it I. You really can write wonderfully well. This truly paints a sadly beautiful picture YOU are indeed a master of art here Seriously good writing darling girl, very very good When the shadows seem to be too near When the path you walk is full of fear If your soul feels the pain too much And you face again sorrow’s touch Look to HIM to drive the dark away In HIM you’ll find your hope today When darkness covers up your sky When your wings are too weak to fly If the night never gives way to dawn If your soul feels battered and so torn Ask HIM to help you in your need HE will plant in you loves’ pure seed When your tears seem to always fall When you can’t hear happiness call If you feel rootless and cast adrift If in your heart there’s a huge rift Lift your eyes up to HIM and pray With HIM you’ll get through the day Marsha I actually wrote this for you yesterday, take care darling heart and I’ll speak to you soon bounce: Love and warm stuff As always Slushy To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |

Lyra, I cannot ever claim to understand. How do some experience so much grief and others have no clue. But please know that my heart aches for you. It aches for what you have known and what you have yet to learn. I take heart in my firm belief in your faith. Yet I find that my inability to make a difference for you is so regretful. Why do bad things happen to good people? Someday Lyra...someday. I wish you peace, friend. |

I have a big tear in my eye. It makes it difficult to reply. I will wrap you in my warmest, gentlest thoughts, and send waves of healing energy your way each day. Stay strong, sweet sister of heart. |

Dear Lyra, You have got to stay strong, remember you have just written a poem on optimism...this is how your friends wish to see you. Magnus writes well when he says that fear consumes and advises well, so does Larry in his poem of support to you. so if you have that key to that door please see to staying optimistic [This message has been edited by ecrivan (03-08-2002 09:08 AM).] |

Lyra this poem written from deep inside your soul touched me. I savored every word of it. It is heartfelt and the picture added so much to it Lyra. I wish you the best, and God does take away fear as Newell stated above. Love and all of Gods blessings to you. floria Floria |

the vicious edge of broken glass shards pierces my life and leaves only scars poisoned arrows aimed straight at my heart I want to crawl neath the quilt and cover my head where I can leave all of my fear unsaid and hide from insidious lurking dread Your pen has painted a remarkable portrait of fear... this is very well written. *S* But I hope that fear departs soon so you must paint from memory. *S* |

Whatever it is you are facing, I can see from all the responses here, that you will never face it alone. I will keep you in my prayers, and pray that you will overcome this awful fear and find peace without pain. |
