Float Away

Placidly floating
On a current of remember
Drifting idly
Through a stream
Of dream
Calling to mind
The lost fragments
Of shadows kiss
Misty ripples
In the minds eye
Floats by

Meandering glide
On the wave of slumber
Wafting through
Seas of maybes
Summoning thought
Bought images
Of crystal light
Flowing into
Yesterdays tomorrow
Feel the sense
Of truth follow

Wander into
Nights of open wonder
Roam over
Oceans foam
Carry stars light
Shine their pure light
Into dark
Recess of thoughts
Dread
Then float away
Into tomorrow’s day

Krissy

And while thy willing soul transpiers
at every pore with instant fires

Gorgeous imagery, Krissy...
You are becoming quite a poet.

Krissy, this is wonderful. Your poetry is awesome.
I love it. I love the images, the flow, and the rhymes.

As I float through Passions on my poetry sea
Swirling merrily in glee no reality
How wonderful and true that my skies are all blue
As sunshine warms my soul with a beautiful hue.

And so as I leave to go to bed and just dream
I'm contented ev'ry way like eating ice cream
For an angel has kissed me in her poetry
So I'll say good night and close my eyes so I'll see.

Krissy's poetry.

I love your poem, Krissy.

Krissy....said rather simply....I think what
Karilea said is right on target,  you ARE
becoming quite a poet...with your own very
individual style...very pleasing to read...

Quite pretty, Krissy, and I also echo Mangus' statements.

Krissy,
See now...I have a problem with this poem. I must confess I have tried my hand at free verse and young lady:
You make this look too easy!

Krissy dear. You are becoming quite the poet just like your mom. This is lovely, so well written. floria
